Musing on the myriad configurations of tomorrow's First Quarter Moon Tonight.

As I spoke of at New Moon writing, the first quarter presents a challenge to whatever our intention is at New Moon.

the challenge begins today as the planets initiate the ninety degree square aliginment.

Moon in Virgo square Sun in Gemini. what details of earth plane existence/Virgo are challenging the pure joy of communication/Gemini?

perhaps quite a few.

other things happening too: Mars moving into Leo - more energy to passionately explore something potentially intriguing, while Mercury just moved into Cancer.
Quite a bit of communicative sensitivity required , everyone seems exquisitely (perhaps) sensitive these daze.

Fourth Quarter Moon- Eclectic meets Sensual

Fourth quarter moon always a square (90 degree angle) . This one a challenge between Aquarius Moon in a wide conjuction with Neptune and Taurus sun at 29 degrees in a close conjunction with Mercury.

one scenario is Aquarius Moon is in an insouciant, iconoclastic, freedom loving mood with all kinds of (Neptune) visionary, dreamy potential. This part of us is not having an easy time honoring the Taurus grounded, stable, earthy part of us that conjuct (Mercury) wants to communicate about the practical, grounded, we hope Sensual aspects of life.

i am going to tape a television show early this morning, though not at 2am.

will be interesting to see how the fourth quarter moon ,which i actually love., will play out.
There is the challenge of completing the Taurus new moon intention well.
what was our intention.? Say it was finishing the novel, or at least proceeding tangibly in that direction. Or perhaps our intention was Pleasure. Whatever it was the fourth quarter challenge is a challenge from within. If we meet it we feel great, if we don't meet it we are not in an especially good mood.

Alchemical Individuating Mystical Moon Today

Moon in Aquarius conjunct Chiron and Neptune. Aquarius asks for the most unique response to each moment. Chiron askes for healing related to ancient memories of what we have come here to do. If we imagine fuse ing Moon, Chiron and Neptune together we have healing moods that need a mystical container so that transformation can unfold. Aquarius is always the most unique/quirky/individual response we can make a moment and a breath at a time. Aquarius is an air sign. The Moon is opposite Saturn in Leo. We are challenged by Saturn to create a discipline, some sort of structure that involves work to creatively lovingly ground the visionary aspect of the Moon and the aspects she is making today.
